As the sun begins to set, it's time to hit the road and crank up the radio! Kelly and her friends are going to her father's summer rental cabin a few towns away, a place where it's completely secluded, and they can party free from the stress of the city and away from the eyes of authority figures.
As they approach the cabin, Kelly's friend Juliet just hopes the place has electricity to plug in the boombox in case the batteries get low and they want to play video games. Juliet begins to think about how many levels are left in her favorite fantasy game.
Kelly's father (being an antique dealer who often travels far away) has a pretty interesting collection of furnishings, decor and other items there. It's pretty clear to both Juliet and Tiffany how eccentric his customers must be.
Old photographs from the Civil War, old books dating back to the 17th century and manuscripts that look even older. The walls are lined with various rifles. "Can we go outside and shoot one? C'mon Kell, it'll be wicked!" Tiffany coaxes. "My dad never keeps bullets here." Kelly says. "My mother was worried an accident might happen when I was little. Rather than give up his guns, they settled on a happy medium."
Juliet suddenly gasps -- Kelly turns to see what's wrong, but instead realize Juliet has spotted the suit of armor and chain mail in the corner near the fireplace.
"Yep, it's real." Kelly says and smiles as she observes Juliet's look of wonder on her face. "You're such a nerd Julie!" Juliet playfully smacks Kelly her shoulder.
"If you think that's rad, check this out." and points to a barbaric item hanging high on the wall. "Knights used them on horseback to bludgeon their enemies. My dad said this one was weird because the end is full of etchings he'd never seen before, and is completely coated in silver. They call it a..."
"Morning Star. I know. I can tell by the flail and spiked bludgeon." Juliet finishes.
"You WOULD know that Julie!" Tiffany says from across the room and turns on the radio to hear a disturbing announcement...
